Here at the Asheboro UPC, church life means much more than simply attending a worship service. It's about being vitally connected to a community of people, forming deep and lasting friendships. It's about finding God and growing personally and spiritually.

If we were to condense everything that happens here, our philosophy, our vision, our passion - it would be to echo the words of Jesus. One day he was questioned as to the greatest commandment. His response was,

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, your soul, your mind and your strength."

He then coupled that with the second most important value by saying,

"..love your neighbor as yourself."

It is our passion to be completely dedicated to help people fulfill these two things in their lives on a daily basis. We believe Jesus has given us, Christ-followers, a great task and that is to demonstrate His love and compassion to this world in practical and real ways.
